Ankle Holsters – In the Spotlight

Ankle holsters are a great way to carry a small handgun. Many people like to carry a secondary weapon in an ankle holster to use as a backup gun. Personally, I like to use an ankle holster for concealed carry of small handguns. At Pyle Mountain Holsters – we carry ProTech ankle holsters. These ankle holsters are light-weight, comfortable, durable and adjustable. The holster attaches around the ankle using an elastic nylon band. The band is adjustable – enabling you to wear the ankle holster at the desired level of tightness. The adjustable band also enables any number of people with different sized ankles to wear the holster.

Each ankle holster contains an amount of padding – protecting your handgun – while also providing more comfort to your ankle where the handgun is held. To secure your handgun snugly in the holster – a nylon strap is Velcro attached around the handgun and to the side of the holster. This also enables an extra level of holster adjustment – while providing a smooth and quick mechanism to draw your handgun.

At this time, I use a ProTech ankle holster to carry a Beretta Tomcat and sometimes a Glock 27. However, we carry a number of different sized ankle holsters – so we probably have an ankle holster to fit your handgun. For example, we also have ankle holsters which will fit Kel-Tec P3AT, Bersa Thunder 380, Springfield XD SubCompact, and many other handguns. For the price, we haven’t found better ankle holsters than these. Be sure to check out these ankle holsters at Pyle Mountain Holsters in the ankle holsters category.
