Once in a while – a great book with awesome ideas will emerge – capable of changing your life. Although this book has been around a while – a Marriage & Love blog would not be complete without a post about it. The Five Love Languages, by Dr. Gary Chapman is one of those potentially life changing books. Why do I say potentially? Simple, a book is pretty much worthless unless you’re able to implement the information it offers. If you and/or your spouse are truly committed to learning methods to help each other feel love in your marriage – this book is a must read. The ideas are simple to implement and they certainly do work. You’ve got to trust me on this one as my wife and I successfully practice concepts learned from it. To answer the question in the title – yes, I believe one book can show you how to enhance love in your marriage. However, you will be the one choosing whether or not to implement what you learn.
