Hillary Clinton Supports the Confiscation of Guns from Law Abiding Citizens
Most people know that Hillary Clinton is a supporter of more gun control laws. However, it’s critical that voters know just how much Hillary Clinton wants to get rid of guns. Do you recall the outrageous behavior of law enforcement officers during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina – confiscating guns from law abiding citizens?
In response to the outrageous actions perpetrated against those law abiding citizens – the Vitter Amendment - was introduced in Congress in an attempt to “prohibit the confiscation of a firearm during an emergency or major disaster if the possession of such firearm is not prohibited under Federal or State law.”
Hillary Clinton was one of 16 Senators to vote against the Vitter Amendment. Essentially, she voted for the confiscation of firearms - from law abiding citizens – during times of emergency. These times of emergency are when law abiding citizens need their firearms the most.
I can recall the horrible news coming out of New Orleans as reports of armed criminal mobs were roaming the streets. Almost as horrifying were the reports that New Orleans law enforcement was responding by confiscating the guns of the law abiding citizens.
If we can’t trust Hillary Clinton with something as simple as our 2nd Amendment rights – how can anyone actually consider supporting her for president?
