Ron Paul, Gun Rights and the 2nd Amendment

Here's a really interesting article about Ron Paul, his pro gun rights stance and his "constitutionalist" approach to politics. The real question being raised in this article is how Ron Pauls gun rights view and his constitutionalist politics might conflict. For instance, Ron Paul says individual states should decide mosts things - leaving the federal government out of the equation. However, he also has a stong and pro gun rights opinion. One has to wonder whether Ron Paul's stance on gun rights would win over his constitutionalist politics or the other way around.
